Ok, first of all I have to apologize to all of you guys for taking this long to update.
I was a bit tight on money this month and I had to give priority to paid projects these last weeks, and I dind't had enough time to work on my webcomic. Also I went to a comic convention and I was working on a portfolio for it. At least I received very important tips from pros who work on comics.
Now I'm back to the regular weekly update, I still haven't decided to day I'll update, but I think Monday is a nice option, anything i can do to make Monday a less shitty day, heh. ;)
Thanks a lot for the messages and the encouragement, guys, you are awesome!

This is a group who desperately need a leader. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if an enemy simply waited for them to get into an argument and jump the first one to storm out.

Sticking around waiting for them to come to you is like asking to get punched in the nose. They also need to relocate or move their base.

Something that I never quite understood in traditional comics like the JLA, Fantastic Four, Avengers, Teen Titans ect ect, why didnt their enemies just nuke the base as soon as the heroes held a meeting or whatever?

This is a solid page, the expression work is really excellent =)

Real answer: Because they need plot!

Long-answer: Even villains have standards, and wiping out the heroes with a weapon of mass destruction when you're unable to see their expressions is generally far below those standards.

Even if not, many times, a heroes' base will be equipped with defensive counter-measures to attack, and even if not, the heroes themselves often have ways of countering the attack, and EVEN IF NOT, then some outside force will inevitably stop it ANYWAY, which the villains are genre savvy enough to realize.

...Or, y'know, because there'd be no plot if the villains did. :P

Draginbeard: Yes, the group needs both a leader and a new base, both things will be adressed later. I want these first issues to give the feel of how hard it is to actually build a superhuman group, with all the difficulties it has.
Thanks for the opinion, I'm pretty happy with the expressions too. Although I had to redo them lots of times to get them how I wanted.

Ranger_brian: you're right, both your short and long answers.
I guess usually a hero's base is armed to be able to be defended, but I don't think it would stand against a nuke or something like that.
That is assuming the villain just wants to get rid of the hero, there are others who enjoy the fighting and nuking the base takes out all the fun XD

Thinking back, if I remember correctly, Peter David did use a huge bomb in 'The Last Avengers Story'...which of course, ended as the title suggested.

Also, they dropped the bomb at the end of 'Kingdom Come', which killed quite a few. so I reckon it has been done before.

This puts me back to your point - "Plot".

Or maybe I need to stop rooting for the bad guys.

I haven't read any of those, I have read some comcis when the base is attacked and quite a few members are killed (although usually not the top protagonists).
Rooting for the bad guys is not bad at all, sometimes I feel more connected to them than to heroes, it depends on how well their characters are written.

I think they should go just because I want to see them kick some butt, but their reasons for going are also just as good.
